About Udyamee 500
Who Gets Recognised Matters.
There are thousands of people working in HR across India. They don’t all work with the same teams, resources or challenges.
Some are building people functions from the ground up. Some are leading HR for thousands of employees. Some are working through rapid growth. Others are managing complex, established organisations.
Udyamee 500 is built to bring those different experiences into one national list.
The 2026 edition will recognise 500 HR professionals across India whose work reflects the range and responsibility of modern HR leadership.
Who Will The 500 Represent?
Not Every HR Career Looks the Same. The List Shouldn't Either.
The 500 selections are planned to include professionals from different types of organisations and different stages of their HR careers.
Enterprise & MNCs
CHROs and senior HR leaders from organisations with ₹1,000 Cr+ turnover or 5,000+ employees.
Mid-Market & SMEs
HR leaders from established mid-sized companies, SMEs and high-growth businesses.
Startups
HR professionals from technology, D2C and venture-backed companies.
Public Sector
HR leaders from PSUs and infrastructure organisations.
Young HR Leaders
Next-generation HR directors, heads and emerging HR leaders.
These are areas of representation, not separate award categories or fixed quotas. The final mix may change based on the nominations received and the overall selection.
